After banning e-scooters, Paris voted to triple parking fees for SUVs. Both vehicles are huge risk factors, but more generally are just fricking annoying. They block street crossings, visually and physically. Already narrow side walks have to bear them as an additional burden. In Hamburg, the SPD and Grüne are pushing for more dedicated scooter parking spots. There are currently 34 in all of Hamburg. At least a tiny sliver of hope.
